Nurse Practitioner – Infusion Services

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Infusion Services team. The Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical oversight and patient management for individuals receiving infusion therapies. The ideal candidate will have experience in infusion therapy, specialty medications, and managing patients with complex or chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and determine eligibility for infusion therapy

• Order, prescribe, and manage infusion medications according to established protocols

• Monitor patients during treatment and manage any infusion-related reactions or complications

• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care

• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

• Review lab results and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State

• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or Acute Care NP (ACNP)

• DEA registration (if prescribing controlled medications)

• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner

• Experience with infusion therapy, biologics, or specialty medications preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills

Preferred Experience

• Infusion center, oncology, rheumatology, neurology, or gastroenterology experience

• Familiarity with biologic therapies and specialty infusions

• Experience managing infusion reactions and complex medication regimens
