Position: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse
Location: Bronx, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem (Flexible Scheduling Available)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate PICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in the Bronx. The PICU RN will provide specialized, high-quality nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and response to treatment

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments as prescribed

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams

• Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment

• Support and educate families regarding patient care and treatment plans

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Minimum 1–2 years PICU experience preferred

• BLS and ACLS certification required

• PALS certification required

• Strong critical thinking and pediatric assessment skills

• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
