RN Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing supervision and leadership in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting

• Oversee and support RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CNAs, and nursing staff

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments

• Provide wound care and monitor for changes in condition

• Prepare residents for exams and procedures

• Collect and process lab specimens (blood, urine, etc.)

• Educate residents and families on care plans

• Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations and facility policies

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR documentation)

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Requirements:

• Current, active, and unencumbered New York State RN License

• Minimum 1 year RN experience required (Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehab, or Nursing Home experience strongly preferred)

• Prior supervisory or Charge Nurse experience preferred

• Current AHA BLS Certification (from an in-person course required)

• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills

• Experience with EMR / clinical software systems

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
