Respiratory Therapist

Role Description

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a contract role in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The therapist will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and support services for patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions. Day-to-day tasks include assessing and monitoring respiratory functions, developing and implementing respiratory care plans, and delivering neonatal respiratory care when required. The role involves collaboration with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Therapy
• Expertise in Respiratory Care and Neonatal Intensive Care
• Familiarity with Medicine as it pertains to respiratory treatment and therapy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Acute care experience is a plus

Required Certifications

• ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC 
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• PALS
