Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
ATC Healthcare Services of Las Vegas is seeking experienced and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide rehabilitative care in post-acute and long-term care settings in Las Vegas. This position is staffed through ATC to provide occupational therapy services specifically at a reputable local skilled nursing and rehab facility. You will work in a collaborative environment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), delivering high-quality care while enjoying the stability and benefits of W-2 employment.

About the Role
The COTA provides direct occupational therapy care to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed OT, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility standards. Responsibilities include:

Implementing occupational therapy treatment plans to improve patient independence, mobility, and functional outcomes

Documenting care accurately and timely using Net Health’s Optima Therapy system
-
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
-
Practicing within OTA scope and AOTA ethical standards

Maintaining patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
-
Following company policies and demonstrating professionalism
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited OTA program (Associate’s degree)

Current, active OTA license in Nevada
-
NBCOT certification upon hire
-
CPR certification upon hire and must remain current
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in post-acute care or related clinical setting preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Essential Functions

Provide direct rehab care under supervision of an OT

Follow treatment plans and demonstrate good body mechanics

Chart appropriately and maintain accurate patient records using Optima Therapy
-
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude

Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours

Participate in continuing education and professional development
