Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN assignments. This role requires exceptional critical thinking skills, rapid clinical judgment, and the ability to perform under pressure. Emergency Department RNs at ATC Healthcare deliver specialized, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages presenting with urgent or life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rapid, comprehensive assessments of patients in emergency/critical conditions.

  • Implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and care teams.

  • Provide emergency interventions, therapies, and hemodynamic monitoring as ordered.

  • Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document accurately.

  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.

  • Maintain compliance with ATC Healthcare standards, facility policies, and professional ethics.

  • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring dignity, cultural sensitivity, and rights are respected.

  • Maintain competency through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

  • No new graduates. Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.

  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of NV.

  • Current CPR certification (ACLS required); TNCC and/or PALS as required by client facilities.

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced emergency care environments.
