Position Summary:
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract assignment at Saint Helens Post Acute. The ideal candidate is experienced in skilled nursing or long-term care and committed to delivering excellent clinical care and compassionate support

 Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon or Compact State)

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

  • Recent PPD test (within 1 year) or clear Chest X-ray

  • Clear criminal background check

  • Negative drug screening

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, treatment planning, and medication administration

  • Monitor and document residents' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team

  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to coordinate resident care

  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff

  • Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions

  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation
