Summary

As a Radiation Therapist at ATC Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through advanced radiation therapy techniques. This position requires expertise in medical imaging and radiation treatment protocols, ensuring patients receive effective and safe therapies tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment plans and patient information.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients about the radiation therapy process and address any concerns they may have.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in the administration of radiation therapy.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to radiation therapy.
• Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
