Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is thrilled to welcome a compassionate and skilled MRI Tech to our unit in Columbus, OH. As a crucial member of our team, MRI Tech will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient care of our patients in age groups Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. Specializing in operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images, no cardiac imaging, scanning of all implants. Responsibilities

• Consulting with medical professionals to understand the scope of the examination
• Explaining MRI procedures to patients and addressing their concerns or anxieties
• Correctly positioning patients for the MRI scanner, considering their health condition and the nature of the examination
• Operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitoring patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Adapting imaging parameters to improve image quality or reduce examination time
• Performing routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting issues with MRI equipment
• Maintaining patient records and documenting technical details of the procedures
• Following strict safety procedures to protect patients and staff from excessive radiation
• Working with radiologists to interpret and analyze MRI images and help in diagnosis

Requirements

• Experience: 2-year experience required
• Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care
• Proficiency in Abdominal, Female Pelvis, Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Soft Tissue Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, and Shoulder imaging
• First-time Travelers: Yes
• Certifications/License: BLS, ARRT, Ohio State License REQUIRED
• Machines: Familiarity with PACS
• Charting: EPIC required
• On-Call:
• Weekend Requirement: NO
• COVID & FLU: FLU ONLY Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location, zip code 43210
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
