Responsibilities

• Assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures
• Sterilizing medical equipment, tools, instruments, beds and surfaces before and after surgery
• Ordering, maintaining and storing surgical supplies and equipment
• Educating patients before surgeries of what to expect in upcoming procedures
• Stocking operating rooms before treatments with the necessary linens, supplies and equipment
• Updating, filing and retrieving patients' medical records and information
• Offering post-surgery care to patients during recovery
• Answering patients' questions about surgical procedures and recovery methods after returning home
• Helping develop and implement personalized treatments for patients

Requirements

• Experience: 2 years CVOR experience, must be able to circulate and scrub
• First-time Travelers: Yes
• Certifications/License: Certifications: BLS and ACLS required, Valid WA or Compact RN license
• Charting: EPIC required
• On-Call: YES, 1-2 nights per week, one weekend per 6-week schedule
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, on call only
• COVID & FLU: COVID-Not Required, Flu - Unknown
• Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location, zip code 99204
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
