Day Shift 40 hours, (4x10, 0700-1700)

Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Technician for a Radiology unit assignment in Richland, WA. The primary responsibility of the CT Technician is to ensure that physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images for accurate diagnoses and assessment of treatments. The CT Technician interacts professionally with patients, fully explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and increase satisfaction. A thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as the technical aspects of imaging equipment and procedures, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional

• Explaining CT scan procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and increase satisfaction
• Positioning patients properly to capture the necessary images
• Administering IVs with contrast dyes to enhance imaging
• Examining images to ensure they are of high quality and usable
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient medical records
• Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
• Managing inventory of CT scan supplies and ordering restocks as needed

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required
• First-time Travelers: Yes
• Certifications: BLS, AART R, Valid Allied license in hand.
• Charting: EPIC
• On-Call:  Yes, some nights and weekends
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, but limited
• COVID & FLU: COVID not required
• Locals allowed: No, requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission

• Special Requirements: X-Ray Procedure Experience REQUIRED
• Special Notes: Neonate to geriatric patients, variety of CT scans and X-rays. CT: CTA heads and chest, abdomen/pelvis.
