Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - TRAVEL Contract Position

• Shift: Night  (3x12) 19:00-07:00, 13 week contract starting 1/6/25
• Schedule: 36 hours per week.
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be submitted at the time of application.
• PAY Rate: $2550 per week

 Job Description 

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a Nursing unit assignment in Pendelton, OR.

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provide care for women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Their work involves delivering babies and assisting in the provision of comprehensive care and support for mother, baby, and family. Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will use their knowledge, skills, and experience to provide safe, compassionate, and comprehensive care to patients during a crucial time. The job requires dedication, teamwork, and a special understanding of the birthing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications and pain relief as required
• Assist with labor-inducing procedures and techniques
• Prepare and maintain delivery rooms and equipment
• Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery
• Perform postpartum care and monitor recovery, respond to complications or emergencies
• Document medical records and update patient charts
• Provide emotional support to the mother and family and educate on newborn care practices

Requirements

• Experience: 2 years recent experience
• License: Oregon License Required - Can apply for the OR 90 Day Emergency License
• Certifications:  BLS (Required), NRP, Fetal monitoring basic, cesarean section circulating and PCU recovery, cervical dilation checks

• On-Call: 
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission.
