ATC Healthcare Services, LLC of Nassau County is seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated Nurses to serve the staffing needs of our clients. These clients include schools, assisted living facilities, group homes, etc. ATC Nassau County has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Group Home serving a disabled population in Nassau County, NY.

The nurse (RN) will be responsible for administering medication and appropriate first aid in accordance with established rules and guidelines. RN will also maintain health records, medication logs, etc. as required for the residents.

Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Professional, medical treatment of residents and staff
• Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
• Disease prevention
• Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
• Maintaining clinical records
• Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments
• Providing emergency aid to residents
• Assisting aides and other staff in addressing residents needs 
• Aiding in resident transport

Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Active NY State Board Certified Registered Nurse Licensure
• Resume submissions and in-person interviews are required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A desire to work with disabled individuals.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• A Great Team Player
