ATC San Diego & Carlsbad is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Our Certified Nursing Assistant’s provide care to residents in a safe and compassionate manner. You will be responsible for assisting patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and ambulation. There is a part-time, hourly position and a full-time position available.

Certified Nursing Assistant Compensation & Benefits

The Certified Nursing Assistant position offers a competitive wage of $19 - $21 per hour, paid weekly. We also provide excellent retirement planning, and insurance benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• The Certified Nursing Assistant cares for our patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and ambulation.

*Monitor vital signs for residents as assigned and report changes to healthcare team.

• Assist in range of motion activities, rehabilitation, and therapy.

• Document patient care in accordance with established policies and procedure.

• Attend to individual patient needs such as comfort care (i.e., positioning and ambulation).

• Escort residents to appointments.

• Follow infection control procedures as appropriate.

The Certified Nursing Assistant requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR.

*Must have a valid driver's license & dependable transportation

*Must have a current Certified Nursing Assistant license. 

*TB test required and current BLS

• Must possess current knowledge of caregiving and medical practices and procedures.

• Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high stress levels.

• Must be able to lift and transfer residents in accordance with staffing guidelines.

• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks.
