Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to join our team at ATC Healthcare. In this critical role, you will provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced emergency settings, ensuring the best outcomes for patients in need of immediate medical attention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency room setting, assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform emergency procedures as necessary and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in electronic health records.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Experience in an emergency room or critical care setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Ability to administer injections and perform tube feeding when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
