Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN)
ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at the Antrim County Jail. This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while providing high-quality nursing care in a collaborative correctional healthcare environment.

Schedule
• Full-Time (40 Hours per Week)
• Monday – Friday
• Day Shift
• Predictable weekday schedule with evenings and weekends generally off
What You'll Do
• Conduct intake medical screenings for newly admitted inmates
• Respond to inmate sick call requests and perform nursing assessments
• Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records
• Assist the provider during clinics and complete required nursing evaluations
• Coordinate off-site appointments, specialty referrals, and follow-up care
• Monitor and manage chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and seizure disorders
• Perform wound care, health education, and patient counseling
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations
• Collaborate with correctional staff, medical providers, and community healthcare partners to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with correctional healthcare standards
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum one year of nursing experience
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Preferred Qualifications
• Acute care, emergency department, medical-surgical, or correctional nursing experience
• Experience managing chronic disease and behavioral health populations
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience using electronic health records
