Job Description

Arundel Ford is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have diagnostic abilities, a commitment to quality, and the ability to perform both routine maintenance and complex repairs. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with steady work and supportive leadership.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: M-F
Work Requirements:

• Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 4 - 10 hour shift available

• Ability to Commute: Arundel, ME (Required)

• Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently

• Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, and alignments

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues in electrical and mechanical systems

• Communicate with service advisors about repair status and recommendations

• Document services performed and complete repair orders thoroughly

• Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred

• Ford certifications a plus but not required

• Solid understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics

• Ability to use scan tools and repair software effectively

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and handling physical shop demands
