Apple Autos is seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Lead Technician to join our dynamic evening team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to lead a team of technicians and ensure the highest quality service. What You’ll Do
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Consistently and concisely detail and document repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
- Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of the new technology and techniques on the vehicle model lines.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as an automotive technician preferred (5 years or more)
- Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
