Anytime Fitness Robinson is looking for a motivated and reliable Part-Time Club Assistant to support daily operations of the club. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional first impression, assisting with membership inquiries, and helping new and returning members get the most out of their gym experience. This is a part-time position that rewards hard work with commission-based incentives on membership sales making it a great opportunity for those who are driven, outgoing and eager to help others while increasing their earning potential. 

Position Details:

  • Position: Club Assistant (Part-Time)
  • Location: Anytime Fitness Robinson
  • Evening Shift: Tuesdays & Thursdays 3 PM to 7 PM
    • This schedule is not flexible — applicants must be able to work the designated shift.
    • Additional coverage of shifts due to employee scheduling may be required.
  • Pay: $15 per hour base + commission on membership sales.

Job Summary:

As a Club Assistant, you will work directly under the General Manager (GM) to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the club. You’ll be responsible for supporting sales efforts, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and delivering a positive experience to all members and guests. Your role will be key in helping the GM achieve club goals related to membership growth, customer satisfaction, and overall club performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Membership Sales: Promote and sell membership packages to prospective members, providing detailed information and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: All staff are required to participate in cleaning duties as assigned to maintain a clean and organized club environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage member check-ins, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle membership-related paperwork.
  • Club Operations: Assist with day-to-day club operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the facility.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management and staff members to meet sales goals and provide a cohesive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a fitness-related role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and promote club services.
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, club management software).
  • CPR/AED certification (preferred).
  • Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals.

Please note: Maintaining the cleanliness of the club is a core responsibility for all staff members. All employees, including the Club Supervisor, are expected to actively contribute to keeping the facility clean, safe, and inviting for members. Candidates must have reliable transportation.
