IT Lean Coach (Part-Time)

PART-TIME ROLE.  1 YEAR BASE TERM, WITH POTENTIAL 2-YEAR EXTENSION.  LARGELY REMOTE ROLE, BUT REQUIRED MONTHLY ONSITE MEETING IN SACRAMENTO, CA. 

Mandatory Qualifications

·  Minimum education requirement per the Offeror’s CMAS agreement for the classification proposed.

·  Minimum experience requirement per the Offeror’s CMAS agreement for the classification proposed.

·  A Lean Bronze Certification from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), OR a Yellow Belt Certification from the America Society of Quality (ASQ), International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC), Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), Lean Six Sigma Institute (LSSI), Kaizen Institute, the Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC), or Six Sigma Global Institute (SSGI) or equivalent.

·  Five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects.  At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.

·  Three (3) years of experience performing Lean coaching services side-by-side with business teams to analyze and refine their complex processes using Lean methodologies.

·  Two (2) years of business process reengineering experience.

Desirable Qualifications

• Any degree higher than the minimum education requirement per the Offeror’s CMAS agreement for the classification proposed.
• One (1) year above the minimum experience requirement per the Offeror’s CMAS agreement for the classification proposed.
• A Lean Silver Certification or higher from the SME, OR a Green Belt Certification or higher from ASQ, IASSC, AME, LSSI, Kaizen Institute, CSSC, or SSGI or equivalent.
• Six (6) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT processes on IT projects.  At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
• Four (4) years of experience performing Lean coaching services side-by-side with business teams to analyze and refine their complex processes using Lean methodologies.
• Three (3) years of business process reengineering experience.
