Are you an experienced automotive professional who takes pride in doing the job RIGHT and ON TIME?

Do you naturally step up to help your teammates, catch problems before they reach the customer, and keep a busy shop moving? If you're the person who notices the details, keeps the team moving, communicates when something isn't right, and refuses to let a vehicle leave without being properly serviced, we want to meet you.

Antwerpen Toyota is looking for a Team Lead – Quality Control Specialist to join our Express Maintenance team! We're interested in people who have the right attitude, strong automotive experience, and the desire to step into a leadership role.

This is an important leadership role for someone who understands that speed without quality isn't good service, and quality without efficiency doesn't work in a fast-paced Express Maintenance department.

Our goal is simple: RIGHT VEHICLE. RIGHT SERVICE. RIGHT TIME. EVERY TIME.

Why This Role Matters

Express Maintenance is fast-paced. Vehicles come in, customers are waiting, and the team needs to stay organized and focused.

That's where you come in.

You'll be one of the key people helping make sure vehicles don't simply move through the department, they move through it correctly, efficiently, and consistently.

You'll have an opportunity to make a real impact on technician productivity, vehicle quality, customer satisfaction, and the overall performance of the department.

  • Timeliness: Respect the customer's time and keep the workflow moving.
  • Teamwork: We succeed together.
  • Communication: Keep everyone informed and on the same page.
  • Processes: Follow the process, improve the process, and hold the team accountable to it.

What You'll Do

As our Team Lead – Quality Control Specialist, you'll help keep the Express Maintenance operation running smoothly from start to finish. You will:

  • Lead by example and help keep the Express Maintenance team focused and productive.
  • Monitor workflow to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the department.
  • Perform quality-control checks on completed work before vehicles leave the shop.
  • Make sure services and inspections are completed correctly and according to established procedures.
  • Identify missed items, quality concerns, or process problems before they become customer problems.
  • Help technicians stay on track with timing and workflow expectations.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Management, and other departments to keep everyone informed.
  • Help troubleshoot workflow issues and find solutions when the department gets busy.
  • Coach and support team members on proper procedures and quality expectations.
  • Help maintain accountability for quality, productivity, communication, and timeliness.
  • Keep the work environment organized, professional, and safety-focused.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and make the Express Maintenance experience better for both our team and our customers.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced: You understand automotive service and what it takes to keep a shop moving.
  • Quality-focused: You don't just assume the job was done correctly, you verify it.
  • Fast AND thorough: You understand that efficiency should never come at the expense of quality.
  • A communicator: You keep your team, advisors, and management informed.
  • A team player: You're willing to jump in and help when the team needs you.
  • A leader: You don't need a fancy title to take ownership and set the example.
  • Organized: You can manage multiple vehicles, priorities, and deadlines without losing focus.
  • Accountable: You take responsibility for your work and expect the same level of professionalism from the team.
  • Customer-minded: You understand that the quality of our work directly affects the customer's experience.
