Automotive Service Advisor

Antwerpen Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team in Eldersburg, MD. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring an exceptional service experience. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, coordinating service appointments, and facilitating communication between customers and technicians to ensure timely and quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, assessing their service needs.
• Explain vehicle problems and recommended services to customers in clear terms.
• Prepare and present repair orders and service estimates.
• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow between customers and service technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and vehicle service history.
• Address customer concerns and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of necessary components for repairs.
• Stay updated on Hyundai products, services, and industry standards to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a service advisor in an automotive dealership or service center preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive service practices and terminology.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software used in automotive service departments.
• Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
