Step into an instrumental role as a full-time Registered Paraplanner with Boldspire Wealth and the practice of Jim Fisher, an independent advisor franchisee of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. located in Virginia Beach, VA. This remote role requires working Eastern Time Zone hours and focuses on meeting preparation, follow-ups, business processing, trades, and transactions.
The ideal candidate for our team will have superb organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, high ownership of their responsibilities to help build and maintain strong client relationships, experience in financial services and either hold the necessary licenses or be willing to obtain them within six months.
In this position, you will be responsible for representing the company in a positive, professional manner as you interface daily with clients. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepping for client meetings (deliverables, portfolio review, etc., review sales opportunities)
- Executing Account Transactions (post meetings and as directed ad-hoc by Financial Advisor)
- Client service calls
- Establish work priorities, ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
- Assist in new business processing and tracking.
- Deliver superior client services including initiating and editing client communications, responding to client requests and overall support to advisors.
- Monitor compliance requirements and complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, or pursuing a degree in finance or business preferred
- Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours
- Well organized, detail oriented, accurate, and have excellent follow-through
- Ability to set priorities and juggle competing priorities.
- Ability to work within a team environment and ability to work seamlessly with clients.
- Client service-focused with genuine desire to help the practice grow
- Team-player, with a can-do attitude and growth mindset
- Have strong written and verbal communication and listening skills.
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, creative, proactive, and eager to grow in this position as it evolves with the growth of the company.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, SKILLS:
- Series 7 and 66 or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
- State Life and Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to acquire
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and client resources management software.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary: $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience
- 401k with a 3.5% match if employee contributes 4% on their own
