Role Overview
The Paraplanner will:
- Prepare for client meetings, including gathering and organizing data, reports, and recommendations.
- Attend client meetings to provide support through note-taking, case management, and follow-up.
- Assist advisors with trades, transactions, and service requests.
- Manage meeting prep and follow-up workflows for advisors and support the Client Service Associate (CSA) team.
- Dedicate weekly study hours toward professional development and licensing.
- Shadow senior advisors and gradually take on more client-facing responsibilities.
This role is ideal for candidates who are licensed (Series 7/66, Life & Health) or working toward licensing, and who aspire to grow into a lead advisor position in the future.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in financial planning, wealth management, or client service a plus.
- Licensing (Series 7/66, Life & Health) preferred; willingness to pursue required.
- Having the CFP is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to learn in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $60,000 – $80,000+, depending on licensing and experience.
