Client Service Associate / Marketing Coordinator
Location: Ellicott City, Maryland - Morgan Wealth Advisory Group, a Private Wealth advisor practice of Ameriprise Financial
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and have a flair for marketing? We’re looking for a Client Service Associate / Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic financial advisory practice.
In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our team—managing key client service touchpoints, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring every client interaction is memorable. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and service-oriented, with a strong understanding of how client experience fuels client satisfaction and business growth.
What You'll Do
Client Experience & Engagement
- Be the main point of contact for client inquiries and scheduling
- Assist with onboarding new clients and support their use of the Ameriprise Secure Site and app
- Coordinate our client WOW program, gifting, milestones, and appreciation events
- Manage the client service model and track key touchpoints and referrals
- Maintain our Salesforce CRM and ensure timely follow-up and communication
Marketing Support
- Help design and maintain branded materials and presentation templates
- Track client and centers of influence pipelines
- Draft communications and email campaigns for client segments
- Assist with planning and executing engaging client events and marketing strategies
Practice Management
- Manage compliance tracking and internal workflows
- Look for opportunities to improve processes and boost team efficiency
- Support the operations manager and advisors with key administrative tasks
- Assist with incoming calls as needed
What We're Looking For
- 2 - 4 years of experience in client service, hospitality, marketing, or admin roles (financial services experience a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy, especially with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- 1 year of Canva and Adobe experience required
- A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
Other Details
- Compensation: $24-$27 per hour, depending on experience
