Job Summary

As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you will provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home care and companionship to seniors and veterans. Your role will help clients maintain their dignity, safety, comfort, and independence while receiving support with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, errands, and appointments
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or well-being
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment
• Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to the appropriate office staff

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel within a 20 mile radius of Houston, TX
• Ability to work with both male and female clients
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care

Schedule and Availability

• Part-time positions
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability
• Weekend shifts available
• Overnight shifts available
• In-office orientation required
