Experienced Caregiver Needed for Bed-Bound End-of-Life Clients

Job Description:
We are hiring Part-Time Caregivers with the skill, patience, and heart to provide care for bed-bound clients receiving hospice support. You’ll play a critical role in supporting not just daily living needs, but emotional well-being during end-of-life care. Experience with hospice clients, transfers, and incontinence care is strongly preferred. 

Key Responsibilities

• Bed Bound Support: Reposition clients for comfort, skin integrity, and pressure sore prevention, per care plan and hospice guidelines. 
• Assist with Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time.
• Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in conversation to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up.
• Communication: Report any decline, incident, or change in client condition to the Care Coordinator immediately.
• Documentation: Accurately log ADLs, changes in condition, and shift notes via AxisCare.

Requirements:

• Experience working with bed-bound clients 
• Confident assisting with brief changes, bed baths, and respositioning
• Must have experience with end-of-life care
• English Speaking
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, compassion, reliability, and patience.
• A Clean Driving Record/Personal Vehicle
• Current Car Insurance
• A Valid Driver’s License
• 18 Years of Age or Older
• 1+ Years of Caregiver Experience (Preferred)

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in home care or a similar role preferred.
• Skills: Ability to submit documentation through mobile device 
• Certification: CNA, HHA, or relevant certification is a plus
