Weekend Caregiver for Seniors

Heads up to our Weekend Warriors!   Always Best Care of Greater Lexington is now hiring for weekend Care Team Members!

Our weekend starts at 8pm on Friday and ends at 8am on Monday.   We have all shifts available in many locations, days, afternoons, and overnights.  Our weekend crew earns a shift premium (and the eternal gratitude of our families!)   If you keep busy during the week but would like to add a little income by working on the weekends, apply now, and someone from our recruiting team will reach out to you within 24 hours.    You could be working (and earning) within a week or less!

Typical job responsibilities may include any of the following:

• Hands on personal care including assistance with ambulation, transfers, toileting, bathing, grooming, etc.
• Assistance with exercise, therapies, and enrichment activities
• Light housework
• Meal preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Transportation to appointments and social outings
• Other duties as assigned

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be a State Registered Nurse Aide or have an equivalent level of experience and training.   (If you do not have experience, apply anyway - we love to train new care team members in the Always Best Care Way!)
• Possess a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
• Have good communication skills including verbal and written and must be fluent in speaking in English
• Be willing and able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
• Be physically able to care for another human as demonstrated by the ability to stand for long periods of time and to carry 35 lbs a distance of 25 ft multiple times per day.
