As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are urgently hiring for a Caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Houston, TX (77077).
Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX – 77077)
Schedule: Day shift (8 AM – 8 PM) or other times as needed.
Responsibilities:

Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.

Provide hands-on assistance with mobility, transfers, and heavy lifting as needed.

Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.

Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care for clients.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Prior experience working with Parkinson’s patients is required.
-
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical assistance with mobility is a must.

Prior experience working as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting.
-
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.

Ability to pass a background check and reference check.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly clients.

Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).

Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
