At Always Best Care, we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals needing support with daily living activities. We take pride in offering care that emphasizes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us.

We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a mature client in Sugar Land, TX (77479). This role requires experience with dementia care and the ability to remain patient and calm in challenging situations.

Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Sugar Land, TX 77479)
Shifts Available:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday – 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Tuesday – 2:15 PM to 7:15 PM


Responsibilities:

  • Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.

  • Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for dementia care needs.

  • Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.

  • Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care for clients.


Requirements:

  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Prior caregiving experience with dementia patients strongly preferred.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.

  • Ability to pass a background check and reference check.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Empathy, patience, and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

  • Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
