Role Description:

We are currently seeking a versatile, compassionate, and dedicated Floater NA/CNA to join our esteemed team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. As a Floater Caregiver, you will play an invaluable role in providing top-notch care and essential support to our senior clients. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to be readily available whenever assigned. Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to clients in fulfilling their personal care needs, while upholding their utmost comfort and preserving their dignity.
• Effectively manage and provide support for clients' medication requirements.
• Vigilantly monitor clients' health status and promptly report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of all provided care and diligently document any observations or concerns.
• Offer meaningful companionship, lend emotional support, and engage in active listening with clients, promoting their overall well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, skillfully handle meal preparation, and expertly run errands as necessary.
• Create and maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our valued clients.
• Efficiently and professionally communicate with clients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Remain flexible and available to work during varying assigned times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingly drive to different locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Perform a wide range of tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
• Quickly adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities to provide the best possible care and support.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule.
• Demonstrate exceptional levels of compassion, patience, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Exhibit the ability to multitask efficiently and skillfully prioritize tasks.
• Successfully complete a thorough background check and drug screening.
• Possess a strong work ethic and exhibit unwavering dependability.
• Be capable of seamlessly adapting to various tasks and environments.
• Possess outstanding communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and the healthcare team.
