Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers with strong dementia-care experience to provide dedicated one-on-one support for a client with advanced dementia residing in a senior living community in Dallas.

We are hiring caregivers for both daytime and overnight shifts. This opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule for caregivers who want dependable hours while making a meaningful difference in the life of someone who needs specialized attention and support.

Because the client experiences advanced dementia and requires close supervision, frequent redirection, and hands-on assistance, candidates with previous experience in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or supporting individuals with significant cognitive impairment are strongly preferred.

Available 12-Hour Shifts

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Overnight Shift: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM

Caregivers must be available to work two full 12-hour shifts each week and remain attentive and engaged throughout the entire assignment.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll provide individualized care focused on maintaining the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and daily routine. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing consistent one-on-one supervision and companionship
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Supporting mealtimes and providing feeding assistance when necessary
• Offering frequent verbal cues, reminders, and gentle redirection
• Monitoring the client closely and helping prevent unsafe situations
• Assisting with mobility and activities of daily living
• Responding patiently and calmly to dementia-related behaviors
• Maintaining familiar routines to promote comfort and reduce confusion
• Creating a reassuring, structured, and supportive environment
• Communicating changes in condition, unusual behaviors, or concerns to the appropriate office staff
• Completing required care documentation after each shift

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity is best suited for caregivers who understand the challenges of advanced dementia and can provide patient, consistent, and compassionate support.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Strong experience with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory care strongly preferred
• Familiarity with clients experiencing advanced cognitive decline
• Confidence providing supervision, verbal cueing, reassurance, and redirection
• The patience to manage challenging situations with a calm, respectful approach
• A compassionate, attentive, and dependable work ethic
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Reliable transportation to and from the assignment
• Availability to commit to two full 12-hour shifts each week
