Location: Dallas, TX 75219
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Schedule: 2 shifts per week / 24 hours

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking four experienced part-time caregivers to provide one-on-one care for a client with advanced dementia who resides in a senior living community in Dallas.

We are currently hiring for both day and overnight shifts. Caregivers will work two consistent 12-hour shifts per week.

This client requires close supervision, patience, redirection, and hands-on assistance with activities of daily living. We are specifically looking for caregivers who have experience working with individuals with dementia or significant cognitive impairment.

Available Shifts

Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Applicants must be available to work 2 days per week and reliably complete the full 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing one-on-one supervision and companionship

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Providing meal and feeding assistance as needed

• Providing frequent reminders, cueing, and redirection

• Monitoring the client for safety

• Assisting with mobility and other activities of daily living

• Responding calmly and appropriately to dementia-related behaviors

• Maintaining the client's routine and providing reassurance

• Communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate office staff

• Documenting care provided during each shift

Requirements:

• Previous professional caregiving experience required

• Dementia or memory-care experience strongly preferred

• Must be comfortable caring for a client with advanced cognitive impairment

• Must be patient and able to provide frequent redirection and reassurance

• Must be dependable and punctual

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be able to work two 12-hour shifts per week

This is a consistent assignment and is ideal for experienced caregivers who enjoy providing individualized care and support to clients living with dementia.
