Summer Caregiver Opportunity for Nursing & Healthcare Students

Looking for meaningful, hands-on healthcare experience this summer?

At Always Best Care of Charleston, we’re hiring caregivers to support seniors in the comfort of their homes. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pre-med, CNA certification, social work, or other healthcare-related fields.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a caregiver, you’ll provide support that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Responsibilities may include: 

• Medication reminders
• Assistance with mobility and walking
• Personal care and hygiene support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Running errands or grocery shopping
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Observing and reporting changes in condition 

What We’re Looking For:

We provide training, but ideal candidates are:

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable 
• Interested in healthcare or human services 
• Strong communicators with good time-management skills
• Physically able to assist clients safely
• High school graduates (or GED equivalent)
• Dependable with reliable transportation (required)
• Comfortable around pets

• $16–$18/hour, paid weekly
