Assistant Director

Job Description:

Almost Family, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Assistant Director to lead operations at our Madras satellite office (M-F 8am-5pm). This unique role will oversee both Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services and In-Home Care (IHC) for elderly clients.

As the sole on-site leader at this location, the ideal candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently while upholding our commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with an expanding organization and make a meaningful impact across two vital service lines in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations
• Meet with clients to perform intakes and progress reports
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies for growth
• Support in managing a team of employees, providing guidance and support when needed
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff members
• Meet with local case management entities
• Participate in community events and outreach
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with clients and caregivers/DSP's
• Handle escalated issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of In-Home Care experience or equivalent administrative experience
• Bilingual - Spanish speaking (preferred)
• Travel to Bend office weekly
• Travel around Central Oregon to meet with clients
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Drive

Compensation

• Competitive wage of $25-$27 an hour (+ $1 for Bilingual)
