We’re looking for a Field Service Manager to lead and support our team of Road Technicians and Team Leads across a designated territory. You will act as the primary relationship manager for key customers in your region, with responsibility for service quality, technician development, and field operations performance. What You’ll Do:
- Manage field operations and performance across your assigned territory
- Serve as the main point of contact for key customers, ensuring communication, satisfaction, and service follow-up
- Conduct regular site visits to strengthen relationships and uncover service opportunities
- Collaborate with Regional Coordinators to deploy technicians efficiently
- Monitor and guide technician performance, ensuring strong billable hour productivity
- Support technician development through coaching, feedback, and training
- Lead performance reviews and approve weekly time cards
- Audit work orders and inspect van appearance and quality standards
- Provide technical support and step in when necessary to maintain service continuity
- Promote a safe, high-performing, and positive team culture
- Partner closely with the Lead Field Service Manager to drive operational improvement and customer retention
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in lift truck or industrial equipment maintenance
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience, especially with remote or field-based teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on technical knowledge of industrial service equipment
- Ability to coach and support technicians while maintaining accountability
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
