ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER

Are you an experienced service advisor or technician ready to take the next step in your automotive career? Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Service Manager to join our growing team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Service Manager in daily department operations

• Assist with dispatching work to technicians and managing shop workflow

• Help oversee service advisors and ensure exceptional customer service

• Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores 

• Review, manage, and close repair orders accurately and promptly

• Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and parts department

• Ensure all processes comply with manufacturer and dealership standards

Requirements:

• Previous automotive service experience required (minimum 2 years)

• Prior experience as a service advisor, dispatcher, or technician preferred

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Knowledge of repair order documentation, warranty processes, and dealership operations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
