Job Summary

As a Mobile Phlebotomist at Aculabs, you will be responsible for traveling to various nursing homes to collect blood samples from patients. Your primary focus will be on providing efficient and compassionate phlebotomy services while ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.

Ideal Candidate Location

Ideal candidates are located around the Hartford, CT and Meriden, CT areas and are willing to travel to surrounding areas as part of their daily work schedule.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with Weekend and Holiday Rotation
  • Monday to Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm, with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Responsibilities

  • Travel to different locations to collect blood samples
  • Follow established procedures for sample collection and handling
  • Interact with patients professionally and provide necessary information
  • Maintain proper documentation of samples collected
  • Adhere to safety and infection control policies

Requirements

  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with nursing homes, long-term care facilities, or similar healthcare settings is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Must be willing to travel between nursing facilities
  • Must have a personal mobile phone
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
