Abernathy Home Care is hiring caring and dependable Homemakers and Companions to provide non-medical support to older adults living in their own homes.

No home care experience or certification is required, and this position does not involve bathing or hands-on personal care. We provide the training you need to get started.

What You'll Do

As a Homemaker/Companion, you'll help clients maintain a comfortable home and continue living as independently as possible.

Responsibilities may include:

• Light housekeeping and household organization
• Laundry and changing linens
• Meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Companionship and conversation
• Accompanying clients on errands or outings
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home
• Providing friendly, dependable support

This is a non-medical position. No bathing or hands-on personal care is required.
