Abernathy Home Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for immediate openings throughout Malden, Medford, Melrose, Everett, Stoneham, Revere, and nearby communities.

What You'll Do

As a Certified Home Health Aide with Abernathy Home Care, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors and adults in their homes.

Depending on the client's care plan, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing companionship and social support
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Following individualized care plans
• Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home

What We're Looking For

• Current Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
• Current TB documentation or chest X-ray
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Dependable and professional communication
• Compassionate approach to caring for seniors and adults who need support

Previous home care experience is welcomed, but not required.
