Join Abernathy Home Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in Lynn, MA and the surrounding towns. This position offers short shifts that fit your schedule, enabling you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need assistance with daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide mobility support and help with transferring and positioning
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being to the supervising nurse or caregiver
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work short shifts and flexible hours
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and respectful attitude towards clients
  • Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Lynn, MA
