Position Summary

As a Homemaker/Companion, you will provide essential non-medical home care services that help older adults remain safe and independent in their homes. This role focuses on companionship, light housekeeping, and household support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

• Prepare simple, nutritious meals

• Assist with errands and shopping as needed

• Provide safety supervision and general support

• Observe and report changes in client condition

• Maintain professional communication and documentation

• Minimum Requirements

  • No prior experience required — training available

  • Must enjoy working with seniors/elders

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

  • Reliable vehicle required

  • Must be able to work short shifts

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Dependable, punctual, and professional

  • Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must pass CORI/background and professional reference checks

  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality
