Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining a positive working relationship with all clients, families, and the office team.
• Assisting clients with adult daily living activities listed on their personalized care plan. 
• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, incontinent care, and feeding.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and use of lifting devices when needed. 
• Meal prep and light housekeeping, including laundry.
• Grocery shopping/running quick local errands.
• Companionship
• Promote the personal dignity of each client by ensuring privacy and treating them with respect. 
• one-on-one assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
• Medication reminders
• Other essential duties listed on the client's plan of care.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• A driver’s license in good standing
• Reliable transportation 
• Must be able to pass criminal background and professional reference checks.
• Previous home care experience (preferred) 
• Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred); Home Health Aide (required).HOMEMAKERS DO NOT NEED A CERTIFICATION 
• Supportive Home Care Aide certification is a plus 
• Ability to respect the confidentiality of patients and families
