PCA

We are seeking an experienced compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential daily living assistance to medically fragile children and adults in their home. The ideal candidate will assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. We provide online and onsite training.

Duties, include but not limited to

- Provide direct support to clients in their home

- Assist individuals with ADL's including, Bathing, Grooming, Toileting, Hair washing, and personal hygiene

- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions, assist with eating as necessary

- Turning and position of the client

-Transfer and ambulation

-Dressing or undressing the client

- Drive client to appointments or outings as necessary

- Offer care giving services with empathy and respect

- Appropriate reporting of changes in client status

-Ability to work with Pediatric and Adult population

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED

- Completed Personal Care training program and competency

- Maturity and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

- Must be 18 years or older

- Valid drivers license and auto insurance

- Knowledge of care giving practices and techniques

- CPR and First aid certification

-Have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly
