Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders, with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards

• Diagnose vehicle problems and accurately perform maintenance and repairs on all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, steering, electrical, suspension, brakes, and A/C

• Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment effectively

• Communicate with Service Advisors about vehicle issues and repair timelines

• Complete warranty work to manufacturer specifications

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure customers’ vehicles are clean and treated with care

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician

• Recent dealership experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, repair, and maintenance

• Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools

• Valid driver’s license required

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and procedures

• Comfortable using computers and basic math/reading skills
